The Pasadena Youth Symphony Orchestras (PYSO) consists of seven ensembles for musicians of all levels.
Students must audition into the Prelude Strings, String Orchestra, Overture Strings, Wind Ensemble, Symphony, Sinfonia and Philharmonic. These seven ensembles serve students in grades 6-12.
All City Orchestra ensembles provide tuition-free, weekly group lessons to strings, woodwind and brass students in 4th, 5th and 6th grade who are currently in a school music program in the Pasadena Unified School District
