Tawnee Lynn Lillo
French Horn

A native of Los Angeles, California,​ Tawnee Lynn Lillo can be heard on films such as Disney’s soundtrack and cinematic installment of ​Star Wars; Rogue One, the recent Hocus Pocus 2 and Avatar 2 etc. ​Lillo’s professionalism, diverse musicality and dynamic horn abilities have allowed her such opportunities as French Horn soloist in the Tony Award winning Broadway show, Blast, participating in national music tours such as Shockwave,​ ​Josh Groban, with Grammy award winners, Portugal. The Man and with Ariana Grande at the 62nd Grammy’s and recently finishing up Sigur Rós tour in SF and LA. Lillo’s precise ability to hire professional orchestras and to deliver to high profile clients has earmarked her among the finest of modern day music business entrepreneurs. By demand, Tawnee Lynn Music Services is working to expand the reach of the music industry, allowing for more creative and streamlined opportunities for professional musicians. In addition to her orchestra contracting duties, Tawnee has enjoyed playing in groups such as Triple Play Trio witch offers a unique sound not typically heard in this combination, The New Nine Ensemble, playing Miles Davis, with James Tormé/Dave Richards Dektette and other legendary artists music.

Lillo received her education and training from the University of Arizona, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in horn performance. Additional studies in horn performance earned her a Master’s Degree from the University of Southern California. Alongside a steady teaching at Pasadena City College/El Camino College, coaching with The Pasadena Youth Orchestra and performance schedule, Lillo enjoys traveling, spending time with her family, hiking with her singing dog Booker, teaching/mentoring students, going to support colleagues, discovering new music in all art forms and enjoying nature.
