Kevin Brown received Bachelor and Master of Music degrees from the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York. As an active freelance musician, he regularly plays “extra” with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, Los Angeles Opera and Hollywood Bowl Orchestra. Kevin is a member of the Pasadena Symphony and also plays in various other regional orchestras. He has done studio work for motion pictures and television as well as playing in pit orchestras for several productions at major Los Angeles theaters. As an educator, Kevin has served on the faculty at California State University at Los Angeles, Occidental College and Pasadena City College, where he has directed the Pasadena City College Herald Trumpets in the Tournament of Roses Parade for 27 years.
